Wanted: this person

Motel is looking for an Operations Assistant which will play three important roles:

  • Office Management: placing orders, distributing staff-wide communication, celebrating various staff achievements (birthdays, work anniversaries, product launches, etc.)
  • Financial: monthly bookkeeping and reporting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Logistics: planning our biannual company retreat, booking travel, researching industry best practices (whether that be new tools, policies, benefits, recruiting techniques, events, and so on)

Please note that this role is initially part-time, but has the distinct possibility of becoming full-time in the future. Schedule is very flexible, but ideally you would work roughly 24 hours/week on a set and self-determined schedule. You can learn more about working at Motel here.
